What is Micro needling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, involves the use of a small needle tool that enters the top layer of the skin.

What is Micro needling?

Microneedling is a non-invasive skin treatment in which a dermatologist or beauty specialist, mainly on the upper layer of the skin, makes use of micro-perforated needles. The needles are usually about 0.5 to 2 mm in diameter. Microneedling can also be done at home with specialized tools.

This treatment is also known as collagen induction therapy, as it is known to increase collagen production in the skin, which can be useful for removing a number of skin conditions, including wrinkles. Microneedling actually produces a new collagen in the skin known as neo-collagen.

Collagen is a protein that helps to strengthen and flex skin and replaces dead skin cells. Over time, the production of collagen naturally begins to decrease, which can lead to signs of aging (wrinkles, tightening of the skin, etc).
Controlled Skin Damage By microneedling  the skin releases the skin to produce a new collagen, as well as elastin, which is another protein in the skin that brings skin with the desired elasticity. Microneedling also stimulates the growth of fibroblasts, epithelial cells and endothelial cells, which can lead to healthy skin. Maybe it's a question of why someone should try these small needles on their skin? Well, this seemingly odd act, the body can improve the wound's natural process, which can boost collagen production, repair welds, and clear skin.  Initially microneedling was generally used to rejuvenate the skin, but is now used to increase collagen production and to address a variety of common skin concerns that can be difficult to treat, including China And wrinkles, wounds, stretch marks and even hair loss.

The main potential of microneedlingSome of the benefits of this treatment include:

 1. Increases collagenAs mentioned, the production of collagen in the skin is very important for the appearance of our skin. Less collagen means more wrinkles, sharper lines, and weakened skin. So collagen is more likely to mean younger faces, and research suggests that microneedling can actually increase collagen production! According to a study in 2008, patients treated with one to four microneedling sessions and topical vitamin A and C ointment, at least 4 weeks before surgery, "experienced a significant increase in collagen and elastin sedimentation" 6 months after completion Treatment experienced.

2. Wound healing Looking for a natural way to improve the place? A study in 2009 looked at the effects of various microneedling treatments in 37 patients with atrophic wounds. Atrophic wounds are created in the skin and formed when the skin can not reconstruct the tissue. Examples of atrophic wounds include those who suffer from acne and chicken pox. Patients' wounds were clinically evaluated at baseline and two months after the end of the treatment process. What are the results of the study? Of the 37 initial patients, 36 completed the treatment program, and 36 of the 34 patients received a reduction in the severity of the wound with one or two scores. More than 80% of the patients evaluated their microneedling treatment as 'excellent' on a scale of 10 grades. There were no significant complications for each patient. Even if microneedling can cure acne scars, note that acne is not usually recommended.

 3. The general shine of the skin increasesIf you look at the images before and after the microneedling results, they are quite noticeable! After treatment, people often feel more luminous in their skin.

4. Causes deeper penetration of topical productsA study published in the Journal of European Pharmacy Sciences examined the effects of a microneedling machine with different needle lengths of 150, 500 and 1500 micrometers. The researchers studied the effects of treatment on skin surface morphology, water loss in the face of this treatment, and the penetration of topical water absorption compounds such as those used in skin care products.  After treatment, the researchers noticed a reduction in water levels, which they believed were likely to result from reduced pore size. They also pointed out that peeling skin through the microneedling tool increases the ability to absorb water to penetrate the skin. In sum, Microneedling seems to increase the ability of the skin to absorb the therapeutic material and hence helps to better utilize topical products.

 5. Can improve hair growthOne study published in 2013, 100 test subjects (patients) divided into two groups. The first group, use the lotion just once a day, in second group prescribed the lotion twice a day, plus microneedling on scalp per week. After 12 weeks, 82% of the microneedling group reported a 50% increase in hair growth compared to only 4.5% improvement in the group with single lotion.
